What a fantastic way to spend #ReadAcrossAmericaDay! Our book club students read books purchased through the @lsedfoundation Student-Led Grants to students at @MillerParkLSR7 and then donated all of the books to their emerging library.

A beautifully busy first week in the library. We saw 53 classes for Reader’s Advisory, checked out 1300 books, and hosted our first Learning Lunch. Off to a great start!

Met with our book club this morning & had a very rousing debate about the best genre. The Fantasy team made a great case for their genre. But I say they are all wrong - Historical Fiction reigns supreme. Thoughts? Which genre deserves the title "Best Genre of all Time"?
