I think @Lovable is the @Airbnb of the AI era for the tech community, it's setting the bar/standards in UX, user adoption, and retention with continuously shipping great features, listening to the users, and creating communities. It's great to live through this.

My pet peeve is that I enjoy when some Gpt/Claude whatever proposes a solution that is debunked by me or my team as the right one. Human expertise 10 - AI 0๐Ÿ˜… And so far, I feel like I can't be replaced, I am steering it, and without my context & expertise, it goes crazy.

One of the first things I did after joining my current was to sit with the POs of the products we have and discuss what I saw in the dashboards and get their POV before even thinking of solutions. That was a key moment to build a successful track and weโ€™re a great team moving on.

Thinking consumer-first is something some people are yet to understand, and when in your team people are eager to defend the solution more that the consumer itโ€™s hard to build something that users will love or at least learn to like it.

What I can share is that in order to make sure our user uses the product as we intend it to, we must first have empathy. UX isnโ€™t just about how the product is built, but also how it integrates in the daily processes of the users.

Why did I do the official shift? I realized that the problem mostly lies with how we push solutions to the market and keep active customers rather than how we build it. And well, wherever the problem is, Iโ€™m there to help fix.
