It's my birthday (28). Just had brain surgery and honestly not feeling super festive... It might take a year before I see results and I am still struggling a lot right now. Hopefully next year will look a lot better, but everything is very uncertain right now. Sigh.

I was on them for years and I am so glad I am off, but I sure as hell feel more upset about my situation now too... The meds kind of numbed that I guess. Too bad they had a million side effects, lol.

Unfortunately struggling with antidepressant withdrawal isn't unique, and we really should stop calling it discontinuation syndrome. From my lived experience, even benzos are easier to quit and those are notorious for their withdrawal. If you struggle with this too, much love...
