9 months and 4 days later and I got my waiver for ulcerative colitis and along the way also got a waiver for elevated LFTs, splenomegaly, anemia, and hypothyroidism.
BUT I will get to train for my dream job after 8 years of the Army

I just found out that with my new ulcerative colitis diagnosis I may no longer be qualified to train for my dream job.
So if anyone needs me I’ll be laying on the floor somewhere.

I’m sitting outside my SO’s hangar waiting to pick her up from her deployment. They’re done with the return briefs, but they won’t get released for two hours because they already announced the time for their welcome home ceremony
It’s been 9 months, can we just go home?

Yes there was a time put out, and many people planned for that. But if family doesn’t care for the little “March into the hangar schtick” don’t force the ceremony for the ceremony’s sake just so you can stroke the ego of a commander. People first or something. Let me see my wife.

I spent the whole day getting ready for my SO to get home from her deployment.
I cleaned her house, restocked all of her food, fixed her car, did laundry, got a cake, and got a basket together for her.
I am TIRED
