Interesting work from our lab alumnus @AdityaRanganat4 on RNA-binding protein condensates and emergence of fibrillar structures using coarse-grained simulations.
biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/… RNA-binding protein condensates exhibit a physical phenomenon called aging which results in a loss of dynamicity. We use coarse-grained simulations to show that droplets can access several structural states with distinct intra-condensate environments.
