Teachers in England have 6.5 more children in their class than the average across European countries. This is a result of 14 years of chronic underfunding which has created a big hole in staffing. Vote in our preliminary ballot to demand the Government #InvestInEducation. 🗳️

SHOCKING BUDGET Nothing to address the recruitment & retention crisis. Nothing to repair the school estate. Just real terms cuts to funding & pay - wanting schools to do more with less. Schools need £3.2bn to restore spending power to 2010, and it's not just @NEUnion saying this but also @TheIFS. NEU MEMBERS Vote yes to ACTION on FUNDING & PAY

Very little help for the education system in #Budget24 today. So so disappointing. Education is the backbone of our society, it helps our society to flourish, gain skills etc.
