As we mark the ninth anniversary of the tragic Grenfell Tower Fire, we remember the lives tragically taken from us and those who survived and were forever changed.
We send our love and prayers to all those affected.
We also reaffirm our calls for justice and accountability.

On the ninth anniversary of the Grenfell Tower Fire, we remember the 72 lives tragically lost that day, the survivors and everyone whose lives were changed forever.
The Grenfell Tower fire was a grave injustice that still weighs heavily on London and the nation. It has been nine long years in which the pace of change has been all too slow and the road to justice all too long. Those responsible must be held to account for the systematic dishonesty, corporate greed, institutional indifference and neglect.
I will continue to do everything in my power to ensure all Londoners are safe and feel safe in their homes. I will continue to work with the Government and regulators to tackle the cladding crisis and ensure those responsible take action to remediate unsafe homes.
A disaster like Grenfell must never happen again. I will always stand shoulder to shoulder with the Grenfell bereaved, survivors and residents in their fight for justice and change.

In a statement the family said:
"At this stage, we understand that the incident is not being treated as a hate crime,
However, given the circumstances and the impact this attack has had on us, we believe it is essential that all possible motives are thoroughly examined and that no line of inquiry is ruled out prematurely.
The family is horrified as to why we were targeted.
We are grateful that no one was seriously injured, and we wish to thank the emergency services for their swift response in bringing the incident under control.
This attack has left our family feeling shocked and unsafe in our own home. No individual or family should have to experience such fear and uncertainty," they continued.
We ask anyone who may have information about this incident to come forward and assist the Police with the investigation.
