LFD3 with partners from Olympia Fire on scene of a well involved mobile home residential fire. Occupant was able to escape and is being treated by Medics, transported to St Peter’s Hospital. Crews are still searching for one cat. Fire is knocked down at this time.
Traffic Advisory-Yelm Hwy and Ruddell currently shut down due to a Motor Vehicle Accident with Fire involvement. Unknown how long road will be closed. Lacey Police on scene investigating. One patient being transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Lacey fire units on scene of a working structure fire. Crews got it extinguished and all occupants were able to get out. Thanks to neighboring tenders for their assistance.
This morning, our Chiefs came out to Station 34 to present Paramedic Lieutenant Bill Collins and Firefighter Kevin Davenport with their 20 year pins! Please help us congratulate Bill and Kevin for their 20 years of dedicated service to this awesome community!
This morning LFD3 units were dispatched to a fire in a detached garage. Homeowner entered his garage and found heavy smoke and high heat. He immediately exited the structure, called 911 and shut down power to the structure. Fire was quickly extinguished.
TRAINING ALERT*
Starting today at 10:00AM and continuing all week, your LFD3 water rescue team will be conducting ice rescue training at Lake Lois Park, located at 7th AV and Carpenter. Our Rapid Entry Rescue Swimmers will be on the ice and in the water, rescuing “victims”.
This morning E33, TK31 and BN31 responded to a gas leak in a residence. The quick thinking homeowners shut off their gas appliances and evacuated the home. 👏

E31 on scene of a one vehicle rollover accident on Carpenter road NE. Two patients with minor injuries. Vehicle went off the road and into a deep ditch before violently flipping. Thankfully, both occupants were wearing seatbelts. Buckle up… every trip, every time.
Tonight Jennifer Schmidt was sworn in as LFD3’s newest Fire Chief! Surrounded by family, friends, mentors and the members of LFD3, Chief Schmidt recited the oath of office and received her new helmet and badge. Please help us congratulate Fire Chief Jennifer Schmidt!
E34 on scene of a two vehicle accident with minor injuries. Pacific AV blocked in both directions while our crews evaluate and treat the injured. TCSO on scene and will conduct the accident investigation.
Lacey Fire Units on scene of a working house fire. Fire is now out and all occupants and pets confirmed out and safe. LFD3 Investigation team is currently on scene.
