Couldn’t agree with OP more! As @LadyLegalWriter & I have argued, law schools should teach law students how to plagiarize effectively & efficiently. papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.…

What’s our opinion on Appellant or Appellee versus the party’s name? I go back-and-forth on this. Often it’s helpful to remind the court which party is the appellant versus the appellee. But my preference is generally to call the parties by their names. Not a fan of Appellant X.

Has Uber become virtually unusable for anyone else? Both my husband & I have used it lately, & we’ve had multiple drivers cancel after we waited for them for 10 mins. Frequently the app says a driver is 4 mins away and then when you order it, the driver’s actually 17 mins away.

Brian and I are writing an article on Efficiency and GenAI Pedagogy in law schools. No draft quite yet, but we'll keep you updated!
ChatGPT is a *learning* tool. It teaches people how to write banal, generic prose. And that is a valuable skill that is hard to learn & hard to teach.

My academic writing is also accessible, due to my expertise in legal writing. But I also worry that some will reject it or fail to see its value because of that accessibility.
