Hey @PISDESMath, I have always loved this book & loved using #countingcollections & #choralcounting in my classroom @GenoaElementary. The past 2 days I was able to attend an early math conference here in Michigan with Dr. Turrou presenting. It was great and she signed my book!

I know I've been Twitter quiet for a bit. It's been a whirlwind experience as I have transitioned from Texas to Michigan. Very happy to be back home with my family. Excited to be an instructional coach for the Lansing School district. Really missing everyone in Pasadena.

My AP saw this idea of a mascot hunt on Tiktok - so I tweaked it a bit. We hid 100 #genoaowls around the school for the students to find and put on the ten frame tree. They have been so excited to find them. Only 28 left to find. @GenoaElementary #pisdmathchat @PISDESMath

Had a little fun in 2nd grade today. I did a mini-lesson on 2-digit addition and subtraction with holiday themed word problems using candy canes as tens and chocolate kisses as ones. #2ndgrade @GenoaElementary @PISDESMath #genoaowls #pisdmathchat
