Saw the Mortal Kombat II movie recently. Was a lot of fun, but anything with Johnny Cage tends to be! Great practical effects in places, Tarkatan camp was a real treat.
Interesting choice to center the story on Kitana, Adeline Rudolph was good, rapport with Jade was believable.

As a confirmed Shao Kahn simp I will say I wish they had focused more on his wizard king angle, but I understand these days MK tends to focus more on his tanky bruiser aspect and I will confess they sold him as a tank quite well. Wanna save the wizard stuff for Shang & Quan Chi.

Good guy Kano was also a real surprise & treat, stole the show in pretty much every scene he was in. Wonder if that'll translate to the games?
Overall, would recommend, especially if you've got a stomach for a bit of the old ultraviolence and enjoy a good korny kung fu flick.
