The Newburgh Radicle Roots crew was very happy to welcome Karina, the Employment Services Youth Coordinator for Orange County Youth Bureau. We cherish our partnership with the Youth Bureau for helping us hire such amazing teens from our community to work with us each summer.

Join us Sat 7/15 9:30-11:30 at Green St Park in Beacon for Bugs, Birds, and Blooms in our Beacon parks! Free! Learn about insects, garden ecology, and pollination. Kids and families can observe live critters, make butterfly feeders, and take home wildflower seeds!

It is a perfect time to prep all of your beds for transplants and direct sowing in the next few months. Pull out all those dried plants, and be sure to compost them. It is also time to start turning the compost as the weather gets warmer.
