Top 10 research-backed grammar teaching techniques. Effective grammar teaching combines more than one technique. In EPI we use nearly all of them, from input enhamcement and input processing in the Modelling and Awareness phases (MA) of the MARS EARS to task-based instruction in the Structured Production and Routinization stages (the first S and the R phases). (from my upcoming Evidence-based Grammar Instruction workshop in Adelaide, Australia, on 17th October).
