Raised the need to support local clubs during tonight's Dáil debate on the future of Football
In Dún Laoghaire alone, hundreds of volunteers, support thousands of players at clubs like Cabinteely FC, Granada FC, Shankill FC, Dalkey United, Sallynoggin Pearse, St Joseph's AFC, TEK United, SVS, Ballybrack and many more
But our clubs need support:
⚽Sallynoggin Pearse Rovers: waiting years for a clubhouse
⚽ St Joseph's AFC: need a new astro pitch
⚽ Shankill FC: growing area, stretched resources
⚽ Dalkey United: working with Cuala GAA on a new clubhouse
⚽ All clubs: short of pitch space
Nationally only 34% of grassroots clubs have female toilets. Only 10% have indoor access. That has to change.
The volunteers do incredible work, their effort needs to be matched with more investment in facilities

So folks, how many people have been hit by a “technology fee” charged by @FreeNow_IE for a recent trip? Add in the comments here, I’d like to look into this more and share with all. My most recent “technology fee” was 50% of the actual fare!!

Absolutely no class from Mayo GAA. Totally insensitive to Kevin McStay who served the county since he was a teenager.I wonder if #Mayo sponsors stand over the tone and language used in dumping a group,who admittedly failed to win an All-Ireland - like every predecessor since 1951
