I covered @NASCAR for 12 years at @SInow. The most talented driver I ever witnessed was @TonyStewart. The second was @KyleBusch. Spent time with Kyle at his house and driving way too fast on the backroads of North Carolina. A good and layered young man gone far too soon at 41.

My dad lied, telling 5-year-old me that @KenAndersonNFL was my uncle. I believed it for years, calling him "Uncle Ken" to my buddies at recess. We recently connected and Ken was in on the ruse, asking if I was going to Aunt Jenny's reunion. Time for Uncle Ken to be in the Hall.

I’ve spent some time with @BenSasse and gotta say, as a fellow Nebraskan: No one from our state has had a better chance at the Presidency since Kerry in ‘92. Ben is the rare man capable of poetry and pragmaticism, of balancing the heart with the head. We all lose here, all of us.
