But because corporate wealthy commercial real estate developers got subsidized land for cheap from red states and maximized profits during the Bush years.
And you can't stop building because that would stop profit, so they put these on every corner in America, whether demand was there or not.
No future planning. No research or studies. Just 3-4 parcel commercial unit buildings anywhere you look.
