Unpopular opinion but it's not a heartwarming story when people donate to teachers' Amazon wish lists. It's dystopian.
Good on everyone who helps, but it shouldn't be necessary. Systemic rot needs systemic solutions.
People with master's degrees teaching our kids for $50k a year and begging for basic supplies should not exist in the same reality with trillion-dollar companies and billionaires paying $0 in taxes.
