Mark. Words mean things. What you call "Capitalism" is BY DEFINITION: "Fascism". Capitalism is when you have some widgets and would like to sell them and I would like to buy them so we agree on a price and I pay you & you give me the widgets. No government agencies involved. That's capitalism.

Explicitly illegal and implicitly encouraged. That’s how it works. People are not strictly comparable widgets. You can always find a way to discriminate if you wish to achieve group equity not individual fairness.

I hate how conniving these corporations are with Al. You don't want to use Al??? Well fuck you we're gonna force it on you by forcefully showing you AI search results you didn’t ask for and placing annoying little Al widgets in spots where you'll accidentally click on them!
I hate how searching anything on google has the little AI box act all friendly with me. Back off man

Most alarm apps do one job well: Wake you up… and that’s about it... Recently came across an indie app called Pix Alarm that takes a very different approach, it lets you wake up to your own photos and memories instead of a dull alarm screen. What stood out to me was the story behind it. The developer first launched it back in 2016 and crossed 40K downloads. But instead of pushing ahead, he actually took the app down because he wasn’t satisfied with its reliability. Six years later, he rebuilt it from scratch. That kind of long-term thinking and commitment to getting it right is rare. On the product side, a few things stood out: - Waking up to personal memories adds a surprisingly strong emotional layer to the morning routine - Anti-snooze challenges (math, shake, etc.) make sure you actually get out of bed - Fully customizable experience with themes, widgets, and clock styles Feels like a simple idea done thoughtfully. Early users are currently getting Pro for free (usually $29.99/year). If you’re on Android, worth checking out. This is a PAID post. 100% of the payment of this post, I have requested the sponsor to donate it.
