I've wanted to pit two agents against each other for a while now. And what's a better test subject than a cozy farming game?
Claude Code vs. Codex - it's ON!
So far:
-Codex started and made a functional game (with some visual glitches that are still not fixed)
-It added a day/night cycle, quests, farming flow.
-It even added a dog you can pet!🐶
-Then Claude added a satisfying floating text for harvesting, selling, and completing quests
-Watering crops splashes little 💧 droplets
-Tapping the water shows a ripple instead of just a message
-The dog now occasionally glances around (this one is hilarious 👀👇)
-Resting tells you which crops grew overnight
New Daily Challenge #3
Can you build a cozy 2D farming RPG prototype quickly with only:
1 reference image
3 technical tilesets
1 cute island village layout
bridges, crops, buildings, animals and props ready to reuse
I generated this Cozy Island Farm concept with GPT Image 2.0.
Any vibe coders want to take the challenge?
