🧡🇮🇲🏁 ARA MARSHAL TRAINING DAY - A HUGE SUCCESS! 🏁🇮🇲🧡 Yesterday, Andreas Racing Association proudly delivered our very first dedicated Marshal Training Programme at Jurby Race Circuit, and what a fantastic day it was! A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported and helped make the day such a success. It was brilliant to see both new and experienced marshals coming together to develop their skills, share knowledge and learn more about the vital role marshals play in keeping motorsport safe. The day included practical and classroom-based sessions covering: 🚩 Flag signals and their correct use 📻 Clear and effective radio communications with Race Control 🏍️ Incident management and trackside procedures 🚑 Practical training exercises with Hogg Motorsport Medical Services 🏁 Behind-the-scenes visits to Race Control and the Medical Centre 🤝 Opportunities to meet officials and fellow marshals in a relaxed environment Marshals are the backbone of every race meeting, and investing in training is essential to ensure we continue to provide the highest standards of safety and professionalism at Jurby and across the Isle of Man. Whether your ambition is to marshal at Jurby, the Southern 100, Manx Grand Prix, Isle of Man TT, or simply to become part of a fantastic motorsport community, days like this provide the perfect foundation and valuable experience. The feedback from attendees has been incredibly positive, and we’re delighted to confirm that this will not be the last one. FREE SIDECAR ENTRIES FOR JULY DOUBLE HEADER!📣🇮🇲🏁 Andreas Racing Association is delighted to announce that sidecar entries will be FREE for our July race meeting on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th July, taking place immediately after the Southern 100. 🏁 Modern and Classic Sidecars will all be welcome in our Northern Fuels, Sidecar Open Centre Championship races along side our normal race programme for solos. This is our only two-day race meeting of the year, with the circuit running anti-clockwise on Saturday and clockwise on Sunday, giving competitors the opportunity to race in both directions over the weekend. Sidecars are an important part of our club and the sport, and this is our way of giving something back and supporting the class. The focus of today’s video is Lewis Arrowsmith who is doing fantastic at TT2026 so far this week. Lewis took an incredible victory in the 2025 Manx Grand Prix Supertwin race. We had the pleasure yesterday to go and spend some time with Andrea Majola and present him with the Mal Mitchell Thomas / Billy Redmayne MGP Trophy which is presented each year to the best performing MGP competitior at the following years TT. 🇮🇲 In this instance Andrea won the 2024 Junior Manx Grand Prix and then went on to achieve some fantastic results at the TT in 2025 including an 11th and a 12th place finish in the two TT Supertwin finishes. 🏆 Yesterday Dave Redmayne, Billy’s dad presented the trophy to Andrea. Payment on arrival at Jurby Race Circuit. Arrive at circuit for 9am, ontrack from 10am to 4pm. You are welcome to turn up to take part in sessions throughout the day.
