Land banks are an important policy tool in communities' toolboxes for tackling our unique housing supply challenges. Thank you, @SenBobCasey, for your leadership. Planners are proud to support this bill @APAPAChapter
Land banks help communities turn abandoned or deteriorating properties into assets. I'm introducing the Neighborhood Revitalization and Land Banking Act to support revitalization & ensure the federal government helps communities tackle dangerous properties casey.senate.gov/news/releas…

We support building more starter homes and workforce housing in the right places, close to jobs and opportunities. Our coalition asks state lawmakers to support legislative changes that remove barriers to creating more attainable housing choices across PA. bit.ly/494DsEP

As housing costs soar for renters and homeowners, lawmakers from across the ideological spectrum are pushing for legislation they say will boost housing construction in areas where people want to live. inquirer.com/real-estate/com…

Excited to work with my fellow planning leaders around the country. Let’s get #ZoningReform done. Thanks to @APAadvocates for all of their support.
Legislative leaders from 29 APA chapters came together this week to build advocacy capabilities, hone strategies, and share best practices ahead of next year's state legislative session. Spoiler: #ZoningReform expected to be a major focus for planners at the state level in 2023.

Spoke w/ @RepMGS staff Maddie Daly today about why PA-5 benefit from federal support for #ZoningReform. The pro-planning support provided in Housing Supply & Affordability Act & #YIMBYAct would empower PA planners to tackle the shortage of 98K homes across the state #APAPolicy22

As Chelsea face up to a trophyless future with no money to spend on transfers, football fans begin to wonder how long government sanctions have been in place at Tottenham.

#ClimateChange, #zoningreform, & the implementation of #IIJA & #ARPA legislation are the issue areas where commuity planners can have the greatest impact this year. Planners, let's get to work 📢@apahcd @apatpd @APARegions @APA_SmallTown
With continued federal action on climate change, implementation of infrastructure & recovery legislation, and housing opportunity through zoning reform, 2022 presents an opportunity for planners to ensure last year's landmark investments make a lasting impact on our communities.
