James Harden's arrest happened this morning (3 AM) in Houston after hanging out at a hookah lounge with a large group of his friends.

.@TheAthleticNBA reports the Thunder were immediately linked to Evan Mobley following their playoff exit. With Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, and countless draft picks, OKC has the firepower to make a serious push if Mobley ever becomes available. After the season Mobley just had, would we even entertain that? 🤔

Koby Altman on Evan Mobley: "All Evan has done is impact winning. He’s been remarkable for us. He’s a huge part of what we do." Every indication so far is that the Cavs intend to run it back with their core next season..

.@TheSteinLine on the possibility of LeBron returning to Cleveland: "Staying with the Lakers is widely believed to be his preferred choice because he is so entrenched in Los Angeles now after eight seasons with the purple and gold. The idea of a third stint for James as a Cleveland Cavalier is harder to envision."

James Harden has the 25th highest /- in NBA playoffs history. 20 of the players ahead of him have at least one ring.

Imagine paying 15k for a ticket and not even being able to enter the arena 💀
These people have been waiting an hour to get into Madison Square Garden. Here is a first person account: “They routed everyone down to 34th and 8th. Police barracade. Through metal detectors to a point about 200 feet from MSG. Then they came and apologized and said they were confused and instead we needed to exit the barracade and go to 34th and 7th. We walked there and then a different set of police told us to go to 32nd and 6th. There are hundreds, if not a thousand people, wandering around in giant herds not knowing where to go or how to get in. The police keep saying they don’t know the protocol.”

If this season belonged to almost any other superstar, we’d never stop hearing about it. 🐐 shit.

Kobe exploited referee tendencies = “competitive genius” & “ruthless competitor” Harden/SGA/Luka exploit referee tendencies = “basketball terrorism” Make it make sense.

If the Knicks roll through the West, Cleveland’s playoff exit will age a lot better. New team w/ little chemistry and a flawed roster. Still made the ECF when we weren’t even expected to. Successful season if you ask me 🤷

Say what you want about Harden’s playoff career. At damn near 40, he’s still taking teams further than they were going without him.

At age 36 , only LeBron James and Karl Malone have averaged more playoff minutes per game than James Harden. The workload he's taken on this late into his career is insane.
