THIS #Thanksgiving the stakes are higher than ever before and to truly move the needle towards gender equity, it’s critical WE hold our friends and family accountable for judging women candidates more harshly than men. #GetOutTheBias leanin.org/hear-that-say-thi…

Women-led businesses took in $46.3 billion in capital last year. That's more than twice the $22 billion female entrepreneurs got the year before and more than 15 times the $3 billion awarded them in 2010. 👏👏👏 cnn.com/2019/11/22/success/w…

Because women are underrepresented, many end up being the only or 1 of the only women at work. Black women, who are often the only woman & the only person of their race, can feel especially on guard & closely watched.S/o to your employer for ensuring you no longer feel like this.
I love that I work for a company where Black women are behind almost every major campaign. From the Irishman to Dolemite (and some on both 😉) Black women are leading the charge. It’s honestly overwhelming coming from places where I was the only.

Real talk, when women run for office people are more likely to criticize their qualifications, performance -- even their voice or their looks. Gender and racial bias are hurdles no woman should have to jump in 2019.  x.com/tperry518/status/12019…

What's happening to @itsgabrielleu is all too familiar to Black women. Often POC are subjected to insensitive comments/actions that express a prejudice. Per our #WIW2019 report, 18% of Black women reported hearing demeaning remarks about themselves or people who look like them.

One suggested explanation for this puzzling finding is that the stock market is biased and believes that women are not as competent when making business decisions. Why do YOU think investor react negatively to companies that put women on their boards? hbr.org/2019/11/why-investor…
