Bug that ate my afternoon:
Next.js app runs great locally. Deploy to Vercel -> every dynamic page shows:
"An error occurred in the Server Components render. The specific message is omitted in production builds..."
Just a digest. No stack. No message. 🙂

It's been 3 years, 6 months, and 12 days since ChatGPT went mainstream.
Models got smarter.
Context windows got bigger.
Subscriptions got pricier.
Benchmarks went crazy.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, software dev jobs are projected to grow 17.9% from 2023–33, adding over 300K jobs.

Why it hid so well:
- Build prerenders static pages → file exists then → /login fine
- Dynamic pages import that module at request time → throws
- React sanitizes the error in prod → only a digest leaks
- Even onRequestError got the sanitized version

The fix (one line of intent):
Move the readFileSync INSIDE the function instead of at module top-level. Now importing the module for metadata doesn't touch the filesystem. Image still generates at build.
Lesson: no top-level readFileSync in serverless-bundled code.
