Over the last few weeks we have been teaching Balance Biking to a large number of children in #shropshire with a huge number of them going on to ride pedal bikes! @ShropCouncil @BikeabilityUK itโs awesome to encourage a new generation of #cyclists #cycling

It was fabulous to see Yr6 pupils at Hafod Y Wern practicing their skills on the road to be confident cyclists. I was impressed with all the independent decision making pupils showed to think about their safety. Thank you @LearnCycling for delivering Bikeability in NE schools.

Don't forget it's bike to school week! Get out those bikes where you can, remember to wear something that makes you visible and dust off those lights as the mornings and evenings get darker.

We trained 60 Reception pupils on a @BikeabilityUK Balance course at Oxon Primary School last week, and were delighted to hear that they all had fun with our brilliant instructors.
Well done to all the super little gliders at Oxon in Shrewsbury ๐

For #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek we worked with Childline to tell the real-life stories of children using cycling to lift their spirits in difficult times.
Cycling can improve mental health, provide community and even family for those who feel lonely and isolated ๐ #IveBeenThere
