Kid scores 100% on a retest... Only given a 70%. For what possible justification do we put scores in the gradebook that do not match what a student knows?
There is no average time to learn something. Punishing students for taking longer to learn something seems archaic

One of the best things about going back to school is seeing all my amazing students from last year out at recess! ❤️ I love to hear how excited they are about their 2nd grade classes because @RichfieldElem has all the best teachers!

Last Friday, July 30, 2022, a local residents home was on fire, and he lost everything - his home, his personal belongings, medications and a lifetime of memories.
