Today is my son's 1st day on his job providing hitting lessons to younger ⚾️ players. As I gave him advice last night, I thought about my 1st job & the lessons learned that I still use today. My bakery job taught me responsibility, how to work well w/others, respect & pride.

This weekend, 1 of the best people I worked w/was in town 4 her son's baseball tournament. Even w/4 graduation parties on my schedule for the day, I found a way 2 carve out 20 minutes 2 C her. Workplace friendships are powerful. Lesson: people matter most, not the bottom line.
