I'm a native Texan, and have never even visited NY, but it hurts me as well. I'll never understand how anybody with an ounce of common sense, as well as a firm knowledge of history, could elect someone like him.

As a former teacher and school counselor, I agree. I've seen up close how some administrators wouldn't take action regarding a situation when they should have. Always err on the side of extreme caution.

The thing is, the state was having trouble proving anything beyond a reasonable doubt. Williams is on a tight leash with 15 years probation and a ton of rules. Is that justice? Darned if I know. I'm still not sure one way or another.
