@SWSCongress SWSC MTC on acutely symptomatic ventral hernias reveals > 50% of the pts do not follow up with Surgery after initial ED visit, however if they make it to clinic 70% receive elective repair regardless payout status. We can do better!

Intermountain Health found significant platelet dysfunction in severe TBI on TEG-PM. Correction was seen after platelet transfusion, however jury is still out on its impact on mortality. #SWSC19
