You guys keep posting this BS as if 70% of JRPG sales aren’t on PlayStation. These games are super niche on PC and Xbox. Nintendo didn’t have access to a lot of em until recently. But keycards ruined it so JRPGs don’t sell well there either.

Yep…I’ve said for years that PlayStation carries gaming on its back. We subsidize PC gaming.
If AAA games had to rely solely on PC sales, the industry would collapse.
Even Witcher 3, an IP that was never on PlayStation, sold best on PS4 at full price.

He forgot the worst one, he completely killed the option for physical games on PC.
Even Microsoft supported physical games on PC for a long time via Games for Windows Live discs.
GFWL is dead but the discs still work. If Valve died, your entire Steam library is gone forever.

Facts….emulation will never come close to playing games on original hardware.
Even if it’s upscaled 8k and running at 500fps, with mods, texture packs, etc, it still inferior to OG hardware on a proper TV.
3,500 emulated games, ROMs all stored on a hard drive. Almost every game. But in reality, hardly any are played. Why?
Emulation feels off.
Solution:
Play the original game on authentic hardware. It’s many times more rewarding to play.
You invested in it. Play the real thing 👍

Sony needs to be more aggressive and get full, permanent 3rd party exclusives like they used to.
Sony announces no more single player games for PC
But don’t forget, they also announced they won’t be pursuing live service games any longer.
Also don’t forget that MLB the Show does not release on PC.
We’re realistically looking at a 99% drop in PC support by Sony.
