In response to today’s school closure, we will be providing free curbside meals for children 18 & under from 12-1:30 p.m. at 14 sites: Dobie, Cook, LBJ, Burnet, TA Brown, Eastside, Dawson, Linder, Crockett, Perez, Akins, Houston, Pleasant Hill, Govalle.

Finished off our Christmas Countdown to Kindness with read alouds to our Kinder and 1st grade classes. The kids had a blast, and a couple actually said, “I’m sorry for not paying attention in class... it must be really annoying!” I just smiled and moved on.
