Bernie is from Brooklyn but also yes
When an out-of-state senator comes to Brooklyn to help DSA-backed candidates defeat incumbent Democrats—steps from the home turf of the Senate and House Democratic leaders—it’s not a local fight. It’s a declaration that the socialist wing intends to take over the Democratic Party

Hey tune in if you wanna see Trump’s name torn off a building
Today is the court-ordered deadline to remove President Donald Trump's name from the Kennedy Center. Trump's handpicked Kennedy Center board has filed a last-minute appeal to the order, but we are live for you to see it if the appeal is rejected. LIVE FOOTAGE HERE: youtube.com/live/aAhm880quUg

I have been educated on the logic behind it. I still don’t agree, however I’m not canceling AOC over this either. If there’s a losing leftist candidate who I think could genuinely have been pushed over the edge with her support, I’ll call her out (and no Steyer wasn’t it).
Yeah I'll be honest I don't get the logic behind this non-endorsement. Does AOC have some kind of prior alliance with Reynoso? Or does she just think Valdez doesn't need her support?

Least surprising endorsement ever lmao
SACRAMENTO, California — The California Chamber of Commerce has endorsed Xavier Becerra, only the second candidate and first Democrat it has ever supported in a gubernatorial race. The third house stalwart’s board of directors made the decision after Becerra and Republican rival Steve Hilton spoke at its quarterly meeting in Sacramento on Thursday. “California needs collaboration, not conflict. Secretary Becerra represents the best candidate to embrace that style of leadership,” CalChamber President & CEO Jennifer Barrera said in a statement. Business groups spent heavily during the primary to boost Becerra and attack his leading progressive rival, billionaire climate activist Tom Steyer.

LMFAO also what he said about Platner is the biggest fucking projection: centrists will cheer on corporate Dems who are aligned with Republicans on economic issues but have a D next to their name.
Shot and chaser

"Don't support Platner" Hey dumbass, guess what happens if Dems don't win Maine just ONE of the states you mentioned. That means 51-49 for Dems. Fetterman votes like a Republican, that's 50-50. Aka GOP still wins. So yeah Dems need at least 52 seats. We gotta support Platner.
The Democrats path back to the majority in the Senate is through @MaryPeltola in Alaska @RoyCooperNC in North Carolina @turek4iowa in Iowa @SherrodBrown in Ohio @jamestalarico in Texas They deserve your time money and support if a dem majority is your goal. There is no need to support the nazi tattoo having, pathologically lying, alcoholic domestic abuser in Maine. If you choose to support him, don’t pretend it’s about winning the Senate majority.

Let's note that Valdez, unlike some of y'all, isn't gonna renounce AOC and claim she's evil just cause she didn't endorse her lmao
NY-7 Debate on Pix 11: “Who should be the Democratic nominee in 2028?” Antonio Reynoso: AOC Claire Valdez: AOC Julie Won: AOC

Yeah I'll be honest I don't get the logic behind this non-endorsement. Does AOC have some kind of prior alliance with Reynoso? Or does she just think Valdez doesn't need her support?
Okay, but are you @AOC going to endorse progressive primary candidates like Claire Valdez, who running in your own backyard?

A great example of something that people will want to cancel AOC over but I'm telling right now idgaf and it doesn't matter.
'when Tom Steyer’s California gubernatorial campaign ran an attack ad against Xavier Becerra’s handling of immigrant children that featured her without a heads-up, the ad was recut so she no longer appeared after some quiet outreach from outside Ocasio-Cortez allies.'

Slotkin sucks so bad man. Which means she's probably a favorite to replace Schumer as Senate leader 🤮
Barf. I wonder how Tina Smith, the incumbent Democrat who’s backing Peggy Flanagan to succeed her, feels about Slotkin stepping on toes to back a below replacement lukewarm candidate.

idgaf what anyone says, if she runs every single leftist should support her and it's not even close. You can disagree on who she should have endorsed or whatever but you better all LOCK TF IN.
CNN: AOC is ramping up her role as a key Democratic campaigner this fall — with a major tour in the works to test her national appeal ahead of a potential 2028 campaign. She's also been strategic and selective: notably, she has not endorsed Graham Platner in Maine’s Senate race — even as Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have rallied for him — while distancing herself from other controversial or risky associations cnn.com/2026/06/11/politics/…

See that's how Zohran is the polar opposite of Trump, who would've held a grudge and done everything to screw them back. But Zohran just does what's best for the people he represents.
“The Knicks want to make it clear that we do not endorse Mr. Mamdani for Mayor…We will pursue all legal remedies to enforce our rights” Knicks send Zohran cease & desist letter over logo

Yeah unless Becerra makes some good faith concessions to progressives that ballot is likely staying blank. He deserves to win by the slimmest of margins.

Watching Platner's victory speech and Susan Collins might drop out before the election as well

Gotta love how as soon as an establishment Dem is running against someone to their left, they immediately starting talking like a foaming at the mouth Republican.

Lmao, yes please, weaken DCCC and their shitty endorsements even more.
NEW: Some House Dems are threatening to withhold their dues to the DCCC over its apparently unsuccessful attempt in #CA22 to boost Jasmeet Bains & defeat Randy Villegas Grijalva: "It makes me take a pause, definitely, when I'm considering paying my dues" axios.com/2026/06/09/democra…

Massive (yet reasonable) ask here tbh and I doubt they’ll do it even though they should.
Bernie and AOC need to jump in and endorse Gonzales for Senate. Hickenlooper is a top 10 worst Dem Senator who opposes M4A and voted to fund ICE

Not a race that was on my radar at all. Angélica Dueñas electoral history: - 2018: 6% as Green Party candidate (didn't advance) - 2020: advanced to general, lost with 43% - 2022: advanced to general, lost with 41% - 2024: couple points short of advancing to general - 2026: ?
Looks callable at this point but I can’t quite do it yet. This would be a huge win for the Democratic Tea Party against an establishment AIPAC Democrat.
