This is exactly why representation is important. The more Scottish voices you hear in media, the more it becomes normality. We are accustomed to other accents because of its exposure, not because it’s ’easier’ to understand.

People quirkifying adhd/autism & turning it into a superpower is how we get here. I’ve almost lost jobs due to meltdowns from overstimulation. It’s ruined multiple friendships/relationships bc I don’t understand cues. It’s stressful and fucking sucks sometimes
i dont rly understand ppl saying autism/adhd arent disabilities cause i certainly feel disabled
