Oggi in Italia oltre 2,6 milioni di persone lavorano e restano comunque povere. È una vergogna che dovrebbe occupare le prime pagine dei giornali e l'agenda della politica.

L’invasione e l’occupazione israeliana di sempre più ampie aree del #Libano, oltre ai terribili bombardamenti che mietono centinaia di vittime, costituiscono un fatto gravissimo. Israele continua ad agire nell’impunità più totale, espandendo le proprie operazioni militari oltre ogni limite. Di fronte a questa escalation, le rituali dichiarazioni di “preoccupazione” delle cancellerie europee non bastano. Sono parole vuote, prive di conseguenze concrete, incapaci di incidere sulla realtà. Se l’Europa vuole essere credibile quando parla di diritto internazionale, deve passare dalle parole ai fatti. Come chiediamo da tempo, occorre innanzitutto sospendere ogni forma di cooperazione politica, economica e militare con Israele e adottare sanzioni efficaci. Non possono esistere doppi standard: il diritto internazionale vale per tutti, oppure cessa di esistere in quanto diritto.
