It was definitely different, just as I was told it would be. However, it meandered way too much for my tastes only to have its frayed ends find their way back to the hands of Frank and Vince Blackman. There was potential here, but this wasn’t the execution I wanted to see.

If you’re not one for avant-garde, arthouse, and experimental types of films, you’d be well-advised to skip this one as there’s no dialogue and the entirety of the movie surrounds the experiences of K which fall somewhere firmly situated between dream and reality.

Conceptually, this film tried to bite off more psychological gravitas than it could chew, ultimately causing it to feel contrived and with its eggs in one too many baskets. Despite its Saw-like elements, there was no graphic violence to speak of, eliciting master-of-none vibes.
