The @NTVNewsNL story about inconveniences to MUN staff/students because of @2025canadagames construction peaked my interest.The 10s of millions of $ being spent on sport facility/campus upgrades is worth it,as well as the value of MUN being exposed to 1000's of potential students

Remembering Bob Cole.During the 2010 Olympic Torch Relay in L'anse aux Meadows, Mr Cole handed me the flame. My job was to run the flame into one of the sod huts up there. He said to me, "I'm glad it's you, not me, running an open flame into a 1000 yr old grass hut!"

As Buddy the Elf said, the best way to spread Christmas cheer is to sing loud for all to hear. Thanks to Ms Kearney and Ms Renouf and our grade 5 students for bringing cheer to Mountain View Estates.

Those under the back bumper rear hatch remote openers. Move your feet under the bumper and the hatch opens, they say. Nope..not for me! I look like I'm in a RiverDance recital trying to activate that bugger.

Despite my best efforts of rotating different combinations of clothing on my body, nothing spurred a timely hit. I did what I could. @BlueJays pitchers were exceptional again.

The Blue Baron rolling out to Charlottetown with our U18 team!They will stick to vinyl seats,long for a little AC,get surprised looks from the other Maritime teams,but return with a greater understanding of what it means to be a TEAM.Good luck lads!Wish I was behind the wheel.

Weather conditions are setting up for a miserable day. As such, the Joe Mullins Tourney will not be going ahead. The CBBA is disappointed it couldn't get the Joe off the ground this year; this tournament, or a rendition of it, has been on the go since 2002.
