๐จ Harley-Davidson is bringing back the Super Glide!
In line with the clear course correction under the new CEO, the Motor Company is steadily steering back toward its heritage after previous leadershipโs heavy push into electric bikes contributed to the discontinuation of the iconic Sportster line.
Just in the past few months, weโve seen the triumphant return of the air-cooled, pushrod-driven Evo-powered Sportster, and now a brand-new Super Glide. While itโs still built on the proven mono-shock Softail frame, this revival feels like another strong step in the right direction.
limited-edition model celebrating the 55th anniversary of the original 1971 FX Super Glide. Only 2,500 serialized units will be produced for the US and Canada.
It will likely carry a premium price tag (rumors point to around $63,000), but damnโit looks sharp.
Return of the air-cooled Evo Sportster:
Harley is reviving the classic air-cooled Evolution-powered 883 Sportster for 2027 as an affordable entry-level bike (target ~$10,000).
This follows the discontinuation of the previous Evo Sportster models after 2022.
What do you think? Is this the kind of move Harley needs to win back traditional riders?
