Game Plan:
I just wanted to play Warlock because of the new Diamond Cho'gall hero skin, so why not testing Herald Warlock with Cho'gall again?
While I did not thought that I would win any game with this deck, I was surpised how good some combinations are - especially Destructive Phoenix was the MVP early game.
Ramping early:
yep, the early Fractured Power can be risky, but I've won even against a Dragon Warrior with it coining it out on turn 1.
So don't hesitate to play risky, same goes with DP:
Destructive Phoenix (DP):
Early game you pick a card you might play the next 3 turns if you don't want the DP to respawn, but usually you set up a mean combo with Maloriak, who will spawn the minion when you discard it. Best choice here would be to cheat out a Cho'gall and I managed to do it 2 times in 12 games!
You also can pick Disposable Acolytes, Ysera (never played her in 12 games) or any other card you might not need anymore (ramp cards) to make DP respawn.
Why no Egg in this deck?
Board space. You need it for the OTK combo:
OTK combo:
cards: Gemstone Hoarder, Bat Mask, Agamaggan
order to play: on 11 mana (or earlier if you got discounts via Xavius/the other Gemstone Hoarder)
Gemstone Hoarder -> choose Agamaggan, play Bat Mask on Gemstone Hoarder
next turn you get up to 7 Agamaggan, play one, the next are free: OTK your opponent, even if it's a Druid with 99999 armor - the pig does not care about armor, he is draining life points.
Surprised one Herald DK with 55 life with this combo, yay.
Mulligan:
Keep Rotheard Dryad, Tranquil Treant, Fractured Power, Destructive Phoenix, Elise
