An SMPS repair. This is from a Laser and it water damaged, two open resistors, a blown MOSFET and a blown SCR (for which there does not appear to be a datasheet!)

The other Goliath KDP crystal. Again, accidental as part of a larger experiment, but learning is happening!

I accidentally grew two large KDP crystals overnight! I was preparing a supersaturated solution for growing.(The other was larger but malformed since it grew against the side of the beaker).
These have a few defects, and aren't quite clear, but still, a nice surprise!
