Do you remember the pond the Friends of Meadway Orchard were building with us last Summer? Have a look at it now! Isn't it exciting to see it taking shape. Coir is made from coconuts and covers the pond liner and provides a secure spot for the plants to grow in.

We had a fantastic time as one of the activity workshops at Syon Park's School Day. Almost 300 school children (10 classes from 4 schools, years 4-6) joined us to learn about who lives in and around our local rivers by 'fishing' for facts, as well as how humans impact rivers.
Join us next Thursday at Yeading Brook Meadows to discover the amazing minibeasts hiding in our parks. Follow the trail, get creative with crafts, and explore the park to spot your own tiny creatures along the way!
