I’m at the Bombay Stock Exchange this morning for the @mumbai_festival Startup Mumbai Challenge where a turbocharged panel of famed entrepreneurs are hearing pitches from Startups in the sustainability space. Thanks to the Turbo Start fund, winners could win up to $500k.
Before the pitches start, the panel engaged in a dialogue on entrepreneurship. Fascinating learnings.

Inaugurated ‘Turbo Start’ at ‘Mumbai Festival 2024’ by Ringing the iconic Bell at the Bombay Stock Exchange BSE.
The festival was graced by Chairman of Mahindra Group and Mumbai Festival Anand Mahindra ji, Minister Girish Mahajan ji, mentors, investors, start up founders, entrepreneurs and other dignitaries.
I applaud Anand ji Mahindra and Tourism Ministry for putting together this grand Mumbai Festival, which will become the greatest properties of Mumbaikars in the future.
This festival is about celebrating the city, its culture, its people, and its ideas. This initiative will generate a significant number of new businesses in India’s growth engine and best investment destination.
Innovative concepts will arise from the ‘Turbo Fest’ conference. The recently held G20 summit in India chaired by Hon. PM Modi ji gave the entire world a message of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ - ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’. Through this, priority has been given to the development of all by adopting an environment-friendly lifestyle.
The bright minds are there, innovation is happening every day and the Government is ready to partner with scalable ideas. Also, requested mentors to consider Government as one of the partners to create impactful change through this initiative.
