Niagara Wheatfield and Lewiston Porter High School Seniors took part in a Traffic Safety Fair at Lewiston-Porter High School. The event was sponsored by the Lewiston Police Department and planned by Lewiston-Porter SROs Officer Anthony Nicoletti and Officer Brandon Comerford.
Students witnessed what the response to a traffic accident looks like. Local Police, Fire and Rescue Squads took part in the demonstration. This was followed up by a mock DWI trail and explanation to students of the consequences of driving under the influence.
A special thanks to other participants: Honorable Judge Hugh Gee, Niagara County Assistant District Attorneys Doreen Hoffmann, Maria Stoeling, Peter Wydysh, and Christine Savoia
With Prom quickly approaching, we are collecting prom dresses and suits/tuxs for students that may still need them. If you have any new or gently used prom dresses or suits/tuxs to donate, please drop them off at the High School Counseling Center.
