This is one of the wildest stories we’ve ever published: two senior university executives agreeing a deal to divert student fee money from a partner in Casablanca to a company that one of them owns. The uni hasn’t denied the claims, which we’ve passed to the police.

Last day at UoM History today. Been a hell of a ride since 2011 when I arrived as an 18 year old. Last 3.5 years as a lecturer have been busy & stressful, but ultimately very rewarding. Was a privilege to teach where I had learnt so much. (1/?)

Will miss many colleagues too. So many have supported and mentored me. Actually too many to name. Special big love to those in the union. The love and solidarity on pickets & mab turned frustration into happiness. Helped by loads of pints, bought with money we didn’t have. (3/?)
