Alcohol is not an excuse and we can't keep letting this slide. Girls being harassed/assaulted/creeped on etc at events is OUT OF HAND. This @gamescom, myself @2AngryGamers and @LewisBlogs had to physically restrain the CEO of @ByteBarrel as he persued @CyborgAngell down a street to her taxi after she had repeatedly told him to leave her alone... He even tried to break loose from us to get to her after the three of us told him to leave. @MrsBeardly got her to her taxi safely while we kept hold of him but man, I dread to think how horrific this could have been for her had we not noticed what was happening. Eventually, (his friend?) @Radoslaw_Klasa turned up to escort him away. This is one example of MANY that has come out of this past week and is a running theme of these meet ups (I'm not saying it's GamesComs fault, this was outside the venue). But men... we need to call out our counterparts, hold them responsible and stop letting them think this is OK... no one should be made to feel un safe, simply for just existing.
