We all know Montana ROCKS!
How much do you know about Montana rocks though?
Volunteers with the Lewis and Clark Foundation at the Interpretive Center helped set up a display by the front entrance in Great Falls. You’ll have to go there in person to ask about the hot dog. 🌭

Tonight will be the longest night of the year. Each day that follows will grow a bit longer. We hope you have a restful and peaceful holiday season and take time out in nature to reflect and recharge for the new year. 🌙 🌟

Today, November 30, we have the opportunity to burn piles by Teton Pass. Smoke may be visible northwest of Choteau. Burning these piles now will help with our ability to manage fires during the summer months.
Our districts will be closing gates in accordance with our travel management plans. A few of our districts do not have enough snow to open gates for groomers/snowmobilers. Those gates will open once adequate snowfall occurs.
PSA - don't shoot the gates! 🥴
Thanks!
