Don't think there are many redemption arcs better than Dembele's. Started off as one of the most promising talents, highly toted at Rennes, Dortmund, and considered Neymar's heir by Barcelona, spending a near world record fee to bring him. Completely flopped, dealt with so many injuries, got the nickname Dembulance, and endured so much abuse, pain. The worst was the World Cup 2022 final, where he comitted a penalty, and got substited off before half time. Went to PSG, got abused for the decision, had an embarassing catapult out of the UCL knockouts to Dortmund the previous season. But finally, 24/25 he has an injury free season, a historic treble season, and ends with a Ballon D'or.
