Minories thaisq.com/restaurants/minor… Good Morning, I am thinking of visiting your restaurant in the next couple of days for dinner. Can you advise if I need to book a table? Also I am a wheelchair user and note that you have a step to get in, do you have a ramp? Thanks for your help.

Hey,@grok, who was the most famous person to visit my profile? It doesn't need to be a mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was

Also I asked in another chat about the role of the job coaches giving the view that it would be good if they would make links with local businesses to encourage local employers to employ more disabled people. They replied with a yes, so I said can I see the job spec!

Well an expected trip up to London is on the cards next Wednesday! Blackwater to Reading and then Reading to Liverpool Street Station and then a five minute push to the new offices at St Mary Axe. Am a bit excited as I am one of the first from the company to visit!

Interesting brief on exchange on Facebook yesterday. Surrey Heath are installing public EV chargers in the town and I asked if they complied with the relevant British Standard for accessibility.

I then asked if he was sure and asked - how big is the parking space, are the chargers on a plinth or up a curb, are the barriers around the charger wide enough for me to get to them and can I see the screen as I am sitting down. 14 hours later, the person is yet to respond!

They have responded ‘Well I worked in the sector for 7 years so pretty sure yes. You probably won't even need/see a screen and most will be on a wall. It does depend on exactly where they are fitted of course and it's a fair point to remind the council of this.’😃

I have to say that the coverage from the Covid Inquiry has affected me as a disabled person this week. I feel that no one gives a monkeys about me and that disabled people are expendable.

Hello, wheelie chums, looking for advice! I have just started to volunteer on a project to restore a 1946 Vickers Viking plane! Any ideas as to what I should look to include to make it as accessible as possible. The plane is a tail dragger, so getting inside may be a challenge!

Replying to @HistoryPegg
@cluelesspegg Morning Ian, thanks for letting me join yesterday it was very great. I am in the unique situation where my mother is German and my father is English. One served with the 2/5th Queens Regiment and the other was a sonderfurer with the Luftwaffe. Alex

With the tragic news from Gatwick Airport this morning, I find it astonishing that there is silence from the Minister for the Disabled or her department. How many multiple failures in assistance for disabled people do their have to be until the minister does something about it.

So, I have a rail journey booked from Waterloo to Richmond a week on Saturday. I have booked the assistance. The question is will the assistance be cancelled arbitrarily? If it is how do I get back from London!
