The Dynamic Earth expansion officially opens on July 1, and we're giving you a first look at one of its biggest additions.
In partnership with Toromont Cat, we're bringing a true local workhorse into the spotlight: the Cat® R1700 XE. This fully electric, 50-tonne underground loader spent more than 16,500 hours working deep in the Sudbury Basin.
Now retired from active service, it has a new home in our expanded underground drift, where visitors can get up close to the technology helping shape the future of mining.
