PLEASE SHARE: On 04/26/2026, this individual entered Lowes, at 5412 Sunset Boulevard, & walked to the power tool section. He selected two impact drivers, concealing them. He walked past all points of sale without rendering payment. The total cost of the tools is $438.00.
Chief Terrence Green wants to thank the Town of Lexington community for their interest in supporting the @SCAutismSociety earlier this year. By purchasing our colorful puzzle piece-themed patches, officers were able to raise money for the non-profit organization.
Yesterday afternoon, Chief Green was able to present a $1,870 check to Executive Director James Merklinger, Esq., to support the Autism Society of South Carolina in their mission of empowering the Autism community with the resources needed to live a full and rewarding life.

Officer Oswald had four letters of nomination written on his behalf by his peers. These letters mentioned his positive attitude, commitment to serving both the department and the community, and, in particular, obtaining his EMT certification.
This last action took months of dedication, attending classes & studying. In March, Officer Oswald completed the program with the highest academic standing in his class & passed the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians examination. Congrats to Officer Oswald!

TRAFFIC ALERT: Use caution as you travel in the 5100 block of Sunset Boulevard in front of the Target. One inbound and one outbound lane are currently blocked due to a two vehicle collision. Emergency personnel are on scene.
PLEASE SHARE: On 05/252026, at 1:20 a.m., 3 individuals forcefully entered Murphy Express at 4448 Sunset Blvd. upon entering, they filled 2 trash bags with cartons of cigarettes. They exited the store without rendering payment and fled in a white box truck toward Interstate 20.
The truck’s markings were covered, but it appeared to be an older model Chevrolet.
