With #COP27 beginning today, it felt important to share something our pupils said last week at @1point5MAX: climate change feels overwhelming when you think it’s just your responsibility but more can be achieved when we work together and it gives you hope. #ClimateAction 🌎
Finalising plans for our @mgsonline climate actions.
Our main proposals are: using curricular time to learn about climate justice; contributing to the community through a litter pick and Eco Week; managing our plastic waste more responsibility; and educating our community.♻️🌱
This afternoon the @mgsonline pupils have been focusing on their own problem statement for @1point5MAX: plastic being used excessively in school and in the community.
Solutions have been pitched and whittled down to our final three.

It was great to connect with other schools this morning! Especially @DunblaneHS whose pupils let us see the potential of the green spaces in their school. So, we decided to return the favour…
We’re working on our plans for @mgsonline now so stay tuned! 🌱♻️🗑
